Turn internal training from a one-way lecture into full participation

Training Studio is an interactive training tool led by the facilitator and built around small-group co-creation. Prep, live facilitation, participant answers, shared screen projection, Q&A and post-session review all sit in one flow, so facilitators don't have to switch between slides, forms, chat and whiteboard tools. It suits internal corporate training, interactive talks, management training, cross-team co-creation and workshop-style courses, and it keeps everyone's ideas and output after the session.

Where things got stuck

Scattered tools and costly switching in the room Course content, interactive questions, projection and Q&A live in different tools. Facilitators switch screens while teaching, and it's hard to see in real time which groups have joined, which question they're stuck on, and which questions are most worth answering.

Hard for participants to join, and unclear what to do now Joining often requires an account or a tedious setup, which lowers participation in the room. Participants aren't sure which question they're on or how much time is left, and group output and other people's questions are hard to see.

No record after the session, so every session starts from scratch Once the session ends, answers, discussions and action items are hard to turn into a record that carries forward. The people running training struggle to compare completion rates and follow-up actions across sessions, and every course gets rebuilt from a blank page.

How it works

  1. Create a workshop: The facilitator enters a title and the group list and picks a course template. The system generates a join code, link and QR code join card.
  2. Participants pick a group and join: No account needed. Participants open the link on a phone or laptop, choose a group and start answering. Answers save automatically, and anyone who leaves can rejoin and pick up where they left off.
  3. The facilitator runs the session: From the facilitation console, the facilitator switches the current activity, sets a countdown and moves to the next question, and the participant view syncs automatically. The facilitator can see each group's completion for every question at any time.
  4. Project and discuss: In one click, publish any group's answers, or class-wide results from polls, word clouds and text walls, to the big screen. Participant questions appear publicly in real time, sorted by likes.
  5. Wrap up and review: After "Complete workshop" is selected, the participant view becomes read-only and existing content is kept. The facilitator can view the review report, export the records, or copy the course into the next session.

Who uses it

  • Facilitators / hosts: Create and edit courses, run the session, publish to the screen, answer questions, and compile post-session action lists and review reports.
  • Participants / groups: Pick a group and join, answer each question, check progress and completion marks, ask and like questions, and take part in peer review between groups.
  • Audience / projection screen: View each group's output, class-wide stats and the question wall sorted by likes on the big screen.

Key features

  • Course templates: Built-in templates for team alignment, customer journeys, new-hire training, interactive talks, internal training, management training, compliance and policy briefings, cross-team collaboration, hands-on skills practice, sprint retrospectives, and new product or service ideation. After applying one, you can still adjust the questions, instructions, examples and estimated time per question.
  • 12 exercise types: Short-answer table, funnel diagnosis, list canvas, journey map, rating scale, ranking, poll, word cloud, open text wall, sticky-note wall, matching and timeline. They fall into group types, which display one group's answers, and class-wide stats types, which combine answers from all groups.
  • Prep, run and review modes: Each facilitation stage shows only the tools it needs. In prep, set the topic, template and groups; while running, watch join status and progress; in review, see reports and export.
  • Live Q&A: All questions are public in real time and sorted by likes. The facilitator can reply, mark questions as handled, and project the whole question wall.
  • Peer review and group challenges: Star ratings across four dimensions and a live scoreboard. When you want a competition, turn on a separate group challenge: completed questions add up points automatically, the facilitator can award bonus points for discussion quality with a note on why, and at the end the ranking is locked and awards are given.
  • Post-session action lists and export: Record action items, owners and completion status. Review reports cover overall completion rate, each question, each group and Q&A, and can be exported as a document or spreadsheet.
  • Mobile-friendly participant view: A one-handed layout with support for larger text, reduced motion, and a reminder about unfinished work before leaving.

Getting started

Training Studio is currently in public trial / open-source testing. You can start from the public demo page and experience a full workshop as a facilitator, participant or audience member. If your company wants to adopt it, get in touch to discuss.

FAQ

Do participants need to register an account or download an app? No. Participants scan the QR code or open the link from the facilitator, choose a group and start answering. It works on a phone or a laptop.

What kinds of courses can it be used for? Internal corporate training, interactive talks, management training, compliance and policy briefings, cross-team collaboration, new-hire training and similar settings. When creating a workshop, you can apply a course template directly and then adjust the questions to fit your content.

Are participant answers kept after the course ends? Yes. Once the workshop is completed, the participant view becomes read-only: existing content is kept, but nothing new can be added. The facilitator can view the review report and export the records from past workshops, and can also copy the course structure into the next session, with the answer data cleared.

Can participants see other groups' answers? The participant view shows only progress and the public Q&A, not other groups' answer details. The facilitator decides when each group's output is published to the big screen.

Can we run a group competition? Yes. The group challenge is a separate, optional module and does not replace regular discussion projection. The facilitator can set points per question and choose whether to show a live ranking. After awards are given, the ranking and bonus point records are locked.

Does it have AI features? Not at the moment. It currently doesn't do AI course building, AI answer summaries or automated scoring. The focus is on live discussion, co-creation and converging on actions.

In your next session, let everyone leave their own ideas behind
